Wilsons Promontory National Park

The jewel in Victoria's crown and only two and a half hours from Melbourne, Wilsons Promontory has to be experienced to be believed. Teeming with wildlife and offering a variety of coastal and forest walks 'the Prom' as she is affectionately known is simply a stunning nature lovers paradise.

Our Wilsons promontory tour offers you an immersive nature experience, with walks to suit any age group or level of fitness, including strolls along the estuary or beach, forest walks or climbing a mountain to take in the awe inspiring views.

You may take the opportunity to get out on the water and take in the prom from a different perspective. Joining a Wanderer Adventures cruise is an unforgettable experience taking you on a journey out among the spectacular granite islands where you might just come across seals, dolphins, and migrating whales.

We actively seek out wildlife in the wild and our field guides will provide you with insights that come from a lifetime spent working in the Australian bush.

Great Ocean Road and 12 apostles

One of the world's most iconic drives and offering stunning coastal views, lush tall forests and charming coastal villages, the Great Ocean Road never disappoints us. We love to do things a little differently, avoiding the crowds by ducking down those hidden bush tracks to secluded spots and maximizing our chances to see wildlife in the wild.

Our commitment to conservation and sustainability

For us the term conservation is not merely a marketing buzzword, it is deeply rooted in our DNA.

In 2016 we created our very own conservation reserve documented on the land title and located on our Gippsland property in the Strzelecki Ranges. Over the past ten years our family have planted over sixteen thousand native plants on degraded land covering a total of eight and a half acres.

Now the forest is maturing and provides habitat for koalas and possums, the wallabies and kangaroos are back and a myriad of birdlife can be found there. A most exciting discovery was that of an Eastern Bandicoot which was thought to be locally extinct.

Every person who joins an Antipodes Tour becomes part of our conservation journey as we expand the forest size to reach our goal of 30,000 native plants including 12000 koala friendly species

Koala habitat is particularly importand as we look to play our part in the continued survival of the Strzelecki koala, a genetically sound variation of the species which may hold the key to the survival of koalas accross southern Australia.
